About
About the Studio
What we do
For members of the Division of Neurotechnology, the Studio is a shared engineering resource: when a technical problem is slowing the science, or holding back better care, we take it on directly, whatever shape it takes. The focus is technology that interfaces with the nervous system, invasively or not, and the technology of doing neurosurgery better.
For everyone else, we are a humble SLS print shop. We provide prints at cost for WashU projects. For non-WashU projects, we provide prints at a competitive price and use the proceeds to directly support neurotechnology research at Washington University. The printer is here for our research and clinical missions - selling prints to the public puts its idle hours to work.
